Solar power is the process of turning solar energy into something useful, like heat for greenhouses or electricity for homes and businesses. This solar energy comes from photons, which are the radiation particles that are produced by nuclear fusion in the sun.
There are a few different ways to create solar power, one of which is by using photovoltaic cells, or PV cells for short. PV cells are what make up solar panels, and a group of solar panels is called a “solar array”.
