Atlantic Canada will need many different types of workers to help with the clean energy transition, so if this sounds like the type of work you’d like to be involved with, there could be lots of opportunities!

All those jobs will be involved in the offshore wind sector. We’ll need project managers, designers, construction workers, operations managers, technicians, researchers, accountants, HR workers, and so much more to make all this possible!
You might also try networking with professionals in your field of interest. It’s a great way to learn more about the field and what job opportunities are coming. Be sure to check out Marine Renewables Canada, The Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA), and Net Zero Atlantic. These organizations have plenty of industry members involved in offshore wind such as EverWind Fuels and Nova East Wind.
